We bought this camera after our daughter played with our other Canon Elph at the beach and got sand stuck in the lens extender. We loved our other camera and really wanted to stay within the Canon family with our new one. Picture quality is excellent and the video feature saved us from buying a separate video camera. I especially love the zoom feature with videos (wasn't available on our old camera). All in all, it's a great price for a great camera. Perfect for taking shots of my on-the-go toddler!
