I bought this as a replacement for my older Canon Powershot 850 that I dropped by accident, and have been unfortunately disappointed. While the camera itself is lighter and a bit less bulky, the image stabilizer is sub-par. I feel like whenever my subject is not still (and what young child is?), I get a blurry shot, which never happened with my older model.
