I'll be the first to admit that my knowledge of a digital camera could fit into a thimble, this is my first purchase of a digital camera. I bought it at my brother-in-law recommendation and I am extrememly happy with it. It is small, takes nice clear shots, has an amazing zoom, adapts nicely to my PC. There isn't a delay when taking the picture, and it tells you where it is focusing on the picture. There is a small view if it is very sunny outside. It takes good shots during the day and at night.
